PC-Clinic is part PF Consultants which is a small consultancy specialising in the design and development of application specific  instrumentation, psychometric analysis systems and covert surveillance.

Peter Finlay (Doctor Peter) is the Senior Consultant and has over 35 years experience working with and designing computer systems; from micro-controllers through to main-frames. He is a consultant to one of the countries leading security companies, lectures on data recovery and forensic techniques and is a member of The Institute of Professional Investigators.

Most of the data recovery is handled in-house. Where a drive has suffred mechanical failure and requires 'open' surgery, all operations are carried out  using clean-room laboratory facilities. We are successful in recovering data from various types of media in over 95% of cases. 

A feature of the security work has been the forensic analysis and recovery of data stored in computers, especially where attempts have been made to intentionally 'hide' or eradicate information.
